1 - Print

Print a copy of the activity sheet for each child in your group. This is found in the “downloads” section of each lesson.

2 - Plug 

Mirror your chosen device to a screen so your kids can watch the lesson together. If you’re not sure how to do this, we have included a simple “how to” sheet here!

3 - Play

Pencils and paper ready? Simply hit play on your desired lesson and we’ll do the rest.

- A device with internet access to stream the videos

- A screen to show the videos to your group

- A printer to print the activity sheets

Your kids will need the following:

-Printed activity sheet (one per child) 

-Pencils

-Sharpener & Erasers

-Spare/scrap paper (optional)

Cartooning Club is billed weekly, so you can choose to jump in or out any time you please!

Because we understand that Oosh activities are best done together, Cartooning club is designed to engage as many participants as you like on my given day.
Sometimes kids who don’t feel like drawing will still want to hang out and watch the lesson, which we always encourage. If they are comfortable watching the lessons but not confident enough to pick up a pencil, simply let them know they are welcome to jump in any time!

It’s totally up to you!

Some oosh’s choose to charge for participation in Cartooning Club, while othere’s prefer to open the floodgates and have an unlimited number of kids.

The advantage of this is at pick-up time, parents walk in to your Oosh and see a big bunch of kids completely engaged in a group activity together.

This is your personal choice. 

Some Oosh’s choose to have an educator participate in Cartooning Club so they can help out the younger kids and make creative suggestions.

Other services choose to use the calm and quiet during Cartooning Club time to catch up on paperwork.  

Cartooning Club is designed with pauses between drawing steps so you don’t have to stop-start the video, however you may want to delegate an older child to hit pause or replay a step if the club consensus calls for it!
